First let me say what a pleasure it was to work with Michael in coordinating our trip to Scotland. His help in getting the flights (in the middle of a cyber attack) and setting us up with a wonderful guide through Globus. We had a small group which made it quite easy to get around.
We started with the 152nd British Open then traveled from Edinburgh, St. Andrews, Dundee to Pitlochry where we were lucky enough to be in the middle of The Marching Bagpipe Champions having a get together with dancers young and old dancing old time dances. From there Culloden, Inverness (where we went on a bike ride through the back streets), Loch Ness (no Nessy) Fort William to Glasgow. The sites are amazing even in the rain.
